Hey Stella!

I was truly blessed in my adolescence to get the chance to see Kazan's Streetcar Named Desire at the cinema, an old reel from some dusty warehouse. My favorite probably of Kazan's films with East of Eden. This scene, I had read a lot about it, the sweaty torn shirt of Brando, the sultry passion that oozes from every word and movement, the sexual desire that emanates from the bodies. This scene has stayed with me as a monument of cinema and of the Actor's Studio technique which was a property of Brando.

This scene has been on my mind for days now. Enjoy

Pierrot disguised in blue, vanishing into the sun and sea - the matter of poetry 1000 kisses deep

The vagabond gazing into the eyes of the blind girl - she sees! 1000 kisses deep

Diane your shattered Hollywood dream- murderous rage and a lover's  innate desire - scorned by Rita 1000 kisses deep

Andreas crossing through the scarred Greek landscape pursuing Stella- his logic and reason like a veil trampled underfoot - αιώνες παγωμένοι 1000 kisses deep

                                 destruction, the chords of unrest

Seeking still for the point where the sky meets the earth, the dreamers ride into the sun, Pierrot and Mariane, a syncopated montage sequence into the unknown - amour fou

L'amour c'est mon musique, a major chord a regime of truth the gaze of Alexander supertramp Into the Wild, her lips, her skin and smell, the abyss in her eyes - penetrating beams of light where the sky meets the earth.
